What's Involved?

Crime & trauma scene cleanup involves the following:
- Evaluate the scene
- Decontaminate the environment
- Locate all sources of contaminates
- Decontaminate once again
- Cut and remove all sources of contaminates (check sub floors, walls,
studs, mattress springs, rooms below and adjoining the contaminated area,
etc.)
- Bag and properly dispose of all bio-hazardous materials
- Use chemicals to find trace amounts of bio-hazards previously undetected
- Remove any microscopic elements that remain
- Treat environment for odors
- Disinfect or dispose of all tools and equipment
